We offer 4 PDF sizes: • A4 (21 × 30 cm) — Standard home printer size • Letter (8.5 × 11 inch) — US standard printer size • Poster (50 × 70 cm) — For print shops • Roll (29 × 72 inch) — Large format for wrapping big gifts

For A4 or Letter sizes, simply print at home on regular paper or glossy photo paper. For larger Poster or Roll sizes, take the PDF to a local print shop (like FedEx, Staples, or a local copy center). We recommend using thicker paper (80-100 gsm) for better wrapping.

Photos with clear, front-facing faces work best. Good lighting and minimal obstructions (sunglasses, masks) help us detect faces accurately. You can upload 1-4 photos, and we support HEIC format from iPhones as well as JPG and PNG.

Your privacy is important to us. Uploaded photos are automatically deleted after your session. We do NOT use your photos for training or share them with third parties. Photos are only used to generate your wrapping paper patterns.

No, absolutely not. Your photos are only processed to generate your wrapping paper and are never used for any other purpose. Our technology providers also do not retain or reuse user-submitted images.

Yes! FriendsWrap works great on mobile browsers (Safari, Chrome). You can upload photos directly from your camera roll, generate patterns, and download PDFs to print later.

Generation typically takes 30-60 seconds depending on the complexity of your photos and current server load. We generate 2 unique pattern variations for you to choose from.

If we can't detect a face, you'll see a prompt asking if you want to continue anyway. You can still generate wrapping paper — we'll use other features from your photo (like pets, objects, or scenery) to create the pattern.

FriendsWrap is made by Slow Home, a small creative studio. We built this tool because we love giving personalized gifts and wanted an easier way to create custom wrapping paper without waiting for shipping.
